Have a friend who loves Frida Khalo and made a going away present for her (sniff 😢). You can find this lovely design by Jane Crowfoot on Ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fridas-flowers-blanket. I used my current favourite yarn Patons 8 ply cotton blend and size 4 hook. Also turned my hand at tassel making (coz Linda LOVES tassels!).
Turned out very colourful...
What a nice cushion. I'm still working on the blanket version of it hihi. But it looks lovely.

DeleteBeautiful! ! I too have friends that love my Frida blanket almost finished. ...question is, how big is your cushion and have you just sewn it onto a store bought cushion or did you make one ?? This is just what I've wanted to do for my friends 😉
ReplyDeleteThankyou very much 😊 I was going to make a cushion but I ran out of time so I bought one and sewed the crochet on one side. It was a large sized cushion I think 50cm square? It was a great way to showcase the different flower squares in the pattern without having to make a whole blanket.
